What exactly does the Fractional CTO service include?

Each month, you get up to 2 x half-days of software support or consultancy with your dedicated Chief Technology Officer. This covers CRM system maintenance, automations, integrations, and any other tech needs. We can also work with you to provide consultancy on building and improving your tech setup or we can support and oversee your internal team or Tech VA, ensuring they are doing things correctly. We make your systems work together seamlessly, so you don’t have to worry. You can choose to use your hours as a full day / half-day each month, or spread the time out over the month to use us when you need us.

What happens if I don’t use my hours each month?

Any unused hours roll over to the next month and stay in your time bank for up to 12 months. So, you always have hours ready when you need them most. Rolled over hours expire after 12 months.

Can I use my hours for multiple small tasks?

Absolutely! Whether it’s a few quick updates or a larger project, your time can cover any mix of tech support tasks.

What if I need more than my allocated hours in a month?

You can either borrow time from future months (up to your subscription length) or purchase additional hours at a reduced rate of £150/hr as needed. E.g if you have had your subscription for 3 months, you can borrow from up to 3 months into the future. If you've been with us for a year ,you can borrow up to 12 months into the future. You can borrow a maximum of 12 months worth of hours. Your monthly subscription price won't change when you borrow hours, we simply ask that if you cancel your subscription at any point, you clear the balance of any outstanding hours borrowed.

How does the onboarding process work?

We’ll start with a personalised onboarding call to understand your goals and your current tech setup. You’ll need to provide admin access to your systems, and we’ll set up your project board for submitting and tracking requests.

What should I prepare for the onboarding call?

Please come prepared to talk about your tech stack (what software and systems you are using in the business) and we will requite admin access for any systems/software we’ll be working on. If you have a list of tech priorities you'd like to address first, please come prepared to talk this through with us and perhaps demonstrate via a screen sharing session.

What’s the cancellation policy?

There’s a minimum commitment of 3 months. After that, you can cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice. Please note, any unused banked hours will be forfeited upon cancellation. Any borrowed hours remaining on your account fall due for payment immediately upon cancellation.
